Valentin Ivanovich Muratov (Russian: Валентин Иванович Муратов, July 30, 1928 - October 6, 2006) was a Russian gymnast, Olympic champion and world champion who competed for the Soviet Union. He competed at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki where he received a gold medal in team combined exercises.[1]

He competed at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne where he received gold medals in floor exercises, long horse vault and team combined exercises, as well as a silver medal in rings.[2]

World championships

Muratov won a gold medal in horizontal bar at the 1954 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rome, and also received silver medals in floor exercise and all-around, and a bronze medal in rings.
